The "SARPcheck" program aims to enhance global aviation safety by verifying compliance with ICAO standards – Sundair had already successfully passed the certification audit.

Air URGA, a Ukrainian airline based in Kropyvnytskyi, has successfully completed Phase I of the SARPcheck safety audit, earning a Phase I certificate and inclusion on the SARPcheck registry. Conducted by AEROTHRIVE, the audit involved a hybrid of on-site and remote evaluations due to political circumstances, demonstrating the adaptability and professionalism of both the Air URGA team and the auditors. Air URGA, established in 1993 and known for its regional services and support for humanitarian missions, continues to adhere to high safety standards as confirmed by this latest audit.

Munich, June 21st, 2024: Lufthansa City Airlines becomes first Phase II registered SARPcheck Operator!

The completion of Phase 2 certifies the newest Lufthansa subsidiary's full compliance with all applicable ICAO SARPs from selected ICAO Annexes covered by the audit. Lufthansa City Airlines is the first airline to complete the second phase of the process, according to SARP. Consequently, SARP has added the Lufthansa subsidiary to its register.

The world’s first regular SARPcheck aviation safety audit has been conducted for Lufthansa City Airlines by the audit firm (“SQO”) AEROTHRIVE, the London-based not-for-profit governance body SARP Ltd. announced today. “The SARPcheck partners are thrilled to see that the global demand for accessible and pragmatic ICAO SARP-based aviation safety audits led to the first regular SARPcheck audit just days after the launch of this exciting new global program,” said Henrik Baark, SARP Director.
